Movies

Whether you want to relive the ups and downs of Kalani and Asuelu, Colt and Larissa, or Steven and Olga, season six of 90 Day Fiancé is a season to watch! While not the most memorable season, season six had its fair share of drama you may want to remember before tuning into the newer season of 90 Day Fiance, or any of the spinoffs, like Pillow Talk.

Season 6 had plenty of drama, with fights that escalated into separations, domestic violence allegations, and restraining orders. When the couples weren’t fighting with each other, they were fighting with their in-laws. In other words, there’s plenty of drama to go around when it comes to 90 Day Fiancé season six. The couples featured on this season were Ashley Martson and Jay Smith, Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores, Eric Rosenbrook and Leida Margaretha, Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa, Larissa Dos Santos Lima and Colt Johnson, and Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova.

You can find season six on a variety of streaming services, including Hulu, TLC Go, Philo, and Fubo. Alternatively, you can rent or buy episodes on Youtube, Prime Video, Vidu, Google Play, and iTunes. While Discovery+ will have some 90 Day Fiancé spinoffs and other TLC original shows, it does not currently have the original seasons of 90 Day Fiancé. Alternatively, you can just skip ahead to finding out where the couples from season 6 are now.

Kalani and Asuelu have had their troubles, but now raising two children together and have made their marriage work so far. Their biggest struggle comes from the tension between Asuelu’s mother and one of his sisters and his wife, which continued even after season 6 wrapped and into their appearance on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Eric and Leida have had a more contentious marriage than even Jorge and Anifsa from season four. Even worse was Leida’s relationship with Eric’s teenaged daughter, Tasha.  At its lowest, Leida was threatening to return to Indonesia until Eric kicked Tasha out of the house. Leida also filed a restraining order against Tasha. While Tasha was eighteen at the time, it left a lot of viewers questioning how a father could turn on his own daughter like that. Even Tasha wondered if her relationship with her father had been permanently damaged. Despite all this, Leida and Eric’s marriage has lasted since season six.

Don’t go back to watch season six if you can’t handle a sad story, though. Arguments and family drama were not the worst this season had to offer. By far, the most heartbreaking part of the season was Jay and Ashley. After facing racism and death threats online over her interracial relationship, and secretly suffering from lupus, Ashley eventually discovered Jay was unfaithful to her. Their marriage didn’t even last a year. Though the couple gave their relationship multiple chances, Jay’s infidelity and arrest for violating a protection order were too much. In September 2020, Ashley announced on social media that their relationship was over for good. By far, theirs was the saddest story of season six.

Season six of 90 Day Fiance may not have been a fan-favorite season, but there’s no doubt it was packed full of tension. Go back to rewatch the above stories, or those of Jonathan and Fernanda, Steven and Olga, and Colt and Larissa. While this wasn’t the best season for happy ever afters, it certainly was full of stories that didn’t pull any punches.
