Meredith Marks, star of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, gave fans a much-anticipated update on the status of her marriage with estranged husband Seth. After their tumultuous televised separation, Marks announced that she and her husband have decided to give their marriage another shot.
Meredith Marks, who owns a luxury jewelry and apparel line, is a cast member on the first season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. While Meredith has been tight-lipped with her fellow cast members about the status of her marriage, Meredith and Seth Marks have been candid on the show about their decision to separate. Meredith asked Seth for space, which caused him to miss their son Brooks’ debut fashion show at Salt Lake City Fashion Week. Seth, who works in merchandising and liquidation, travels frequently for business and spends significant time away from Meredith’s home base in Utah. Fellow Housewife Jen Shah revealed on the show that she had seen Meredith dating someone else during her separation.

Despite portraying their relationship challenges on camera, Meredith Marks announced in an interview with People that she and her husband Seth have decided to reconcile. “We love each other,” Marks said. “He’s my best friend and he always will be.” Meredith also addressed the allegations that surfaced on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City that she had another boyfriend: “While we have had many other separations in the past and at times dated other people, last winter during filming we were not dating other people and we very focused to see if we could repair our relationship.”
In addition to evaluating their relationship on camera, the COVID-19 pandemic gave the couple an opportunity to spend some much-needed time together. “We were really quarantined and together, and reevaluating what’s important, what you care about,” Marks told People. “And we were spending all this time together, which we realized we really wanted to be together, we enjoyed spending time together.”
Meredith and Seth Marks met when they were 23 and married in 1996. They started their family only a year later. They share three children together: Reid, Chloe, and Brooks. Brooks, who is an aspiring fashion designer, has been featured alongside his mother on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. They have been separated on and off throughout the duration of their marriage, but have ultimately decided to remain married.
