Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Star Jen Shah Says Mary Cosby “Was Just Being Evil” When She Commented On The Hospital Smell

Jen Shah Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is off to a promising start. I might be a little bit obsessed with this franchise already.

It is obvious from the jump that Jen Shah is the “HBIC.” While Jen may have grown-up Mormon, Jen is converting to Islam to stand behind her Black husband, Sharrieff Shah, and their two sons. The Mormon Church denied Black members equal treatment until 1978, and that isn’t acceptable to Jen.

She talks to her employees (and sometimes her husband) by using a microphone at home. Jen is extra in every way.

In contrast, RHOSLC co-star Mary Cosby is a little confusing. Mary, who is a Pentecostal minister, has been married to her step-grandfather for 22 years. Mary discussed her situation with Real Housewives of New Jersey “OG” Teresa Giudice on Instagram Live.

“It’s not my blood. It was a family situation/choice that I knew was right,” Mary explained. “So, they’re coming at me like I’m incest and I’m gross and I married my grandfather, which sounds ridiculous.” Well, if the ridiculous shoe fits, Mary.

Mary remarked, “It’s my story and I’m not ashamed of it. And I feel like I’d rather keep my grandmother’s empire together than to have listened to the people and make them just be lost in life.” What does that mean? Moving on.

During the premiere episode of RHOSLC, Jen threw an extravagant birthday party for herself co-star Meredith Marks. But, of course, it was all about Jen. Give those poor shirtless waiters something to wear–it was freezing out there!

Jen and Mary are feuding about the aroma of hospitals. Jen caught up with Mary and some other friends after visiting her ill aunt in the hospital. Unfortunately, Jen’s aunt had both legs amputated. Mary mentioned that someone in the group “smelled like hospital.”

Jen wasn’t thrilled with Mary’s rude comment, and the duo started arguing at the swanky birthday party. In Mary’s confessional, she talked about Jen’s aunt. “Well her legs are already gone so what do you want me to do about it?” Mary commented. Wow…just wow.

In an interview with Page Six, Jen set the record straight. “The kicker is I didn’t even go to the hospital! So you’re just being evil, “Jen shared. “I mean, you know, I know that she’s a woman of God and all, but that’s not very godlike. At least in my church.”

So, is there a chance that Jen and Mary can mend their relationship? Jen may be open to it.

Jen stated, “I just want her to apologize and say sorry. I’m very easy. Like, I know people make mistakes, even though that mistake was like … that’s just like you’re not a nice person,” she continued.

“But, hey, let’s just apologize and mean it, be genuine and then let’s just move on. We can do that. That’s literally all I want from her to move forward,” Jen added. “I don’t know if she’s capable of that. Maybe she can go back to her church and pray and then come back and let me know.”

I give these two a snowball’s chance in hell of mending their relationship.
