90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Sumit Singh recently posted a picture with his girlfriend, Jenny Slatten. The “wedding band” in that IG post suggests that they are already married.
In the recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Sumit gathered the courage and went to talk to his parents and convince them to Jenny as their daughter-in-law. The meeting began on a good note with Sumit touching his parent’s feet, but soon, it got heated. The Indian parents were reluctant to approve of their son’s relationship with a lady who’s 29 years older than him. They are concerned that their society would never accept this “odd” relationship. The 32-year-old reality TV star got worked up and accused his parents of pressuring him into getting married the first time. He said, “I got married thinking of your happiness, right? I listened to you and went through with an arranged marriage. You thought it would be a good idea, but it wasn’t. Then where did my happiness go at that time?” He further revealed that things were so bad with his ex-wife that he contemplated committing suicide three times. Sumit’s mother broke down into tears, but Sumit’s father is still not ready to accept his son’s relationship with Jenny.

With or without parents’ blessings, it seems like the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple has tied the knot. Sumit recently shared a side by side picture of him with his 61-year-old girlfriend. Jenny is looking adorable in her side braid while wearing white Indian attire – Kurti. While not revealing any details about his relationship in the caption, Sumit simply wrote, “Humanity runs on coffee and chai so keep drinking and enjoy life. What’s your first wake up drink of the day? Mine is chai means tea not chai tea.” But 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans quickly noticed the wedding ring on Sumit’s finger. A fan said, “Does Sumit have a wedding band on? I hope you two got married.” Sumit responded, “keep it secret.” Another fan exclaimed, “Oh that’s an answered prayer!!! That’s so wonderful!!!!!!” One of the couple’s fans jokingly said, “that’s great !!! Congratulations champagne .. no tea.“
It seems like Sumit went against Indian society and his parents’ wishes and tied the knot with his American lover, Jenny. However, as of now, the couple is keeping their relationship status a secret. Perhaps, their wedding would be a part of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season finale.
