Could Gritty make an appearance on “The Bachelorette”?

Contestant Zac Clark has us wondering.

The Haddonfield, New Jersey, native and Philly sports fan is competing for love on “The Bachelorette,” which kicks off Tuesday Oct. 13 on ABC.

Season 16 leading lady Clare Crawley, 39, is rumored to have coupled up early into filming, and it’s suspected that she’ll be replaced by Tayshia Adams, 30, shortly into the season.

According to TV blogger Reality Steve, Clark and Adams hit it off during her portion of the season, and he possibly makes it into her final four men.

Clark, 36, started a recovery program after becoming sober. According to a Reading Eagle story from 2014, Clark became addicted to alcohol and pills as a teenager. His addiction worsened as he got older, as he used more severe drugs such as heroin and crack. Months after getting married in his 20s, he was arrested for crack possession and driving under the influence. For years Clark has helped people like him get clean, and he co-founded a recovery program in 2017.

“Just a great guy,” said “Bachelorette” host Chris Harrison, while revealing the suitors during an online broadcast. “This guy has a heart of gold. Starts out slow out of the gates, his demeanor, his personality, he’s a quiet guy.”

In his ABC bio, Clark says that he likes a tough and confident woman, which bodes well for both Adams and Crawley.

He has two goals, one more realistic than the other: He hopes to share a Philly cheesesteak with his love — while watching the Eagles win a Super Bowl.
