Real Housewives of Atlanta has been busy filming without two of last season’s stars. NeNe Leakes and Eva Marcille both announced they were leaving the show this summer. Eva’s announcement was met with a collective sigh of relief from fans who thought she brought nothing to the table. NeNe’s dramatic departure, on the other hand, served up more drama than her whole season on the show.
But both NeNe and Eva left the show on poor terms with each other. Despite having what they called a sisterly relationship, the two fell out on the last season. Now it looks like the two ousted peaches are sticking together.
People reports that the two have put aside their issues. Eva revealed, “Life is short. Life is so short, and unless it’s really something that you cannot get over, unless it’s a bell that cannot be un-rung, for me it’s not that deep. I have so much love and light with the friends that I have around me, who I speak to every day, my family.”
She continued of her stance on their relationship, “Just let bygones be bygones. I was hurt about what happened, God has restored my friendships and others a hundred fold. I’m good.”

Eva also said that she was “shocked” to see NeNe leave the show. “Good, bad or indifferent, if you liked what she was doing or you didn’t like what she was doing, she captivated you. She definitely put it all out there on the line … so much so, and so transparent, that you literally felt her pain.”
NeNe clearly wasn’t feeling any pain for Eva when she said back in March, “I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast.” She sniped, “I’m just being honest. It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons. So, if I had to change, I would change her.” Clearly NeNe wanted her off the show. It’s nice she got her wish but I don’t think she realized at the time she would be in the same boat as Eva.

Either way, Eva isn’t going to hold a grudge. She continued with the positive vibes and said of NeNe, “I root for her. I wish for nothing but the best and I hope to see me back on the screen where she belongs. That lady funny at the end of the day. She’s a good time.”
A “good time” is probably the last descriptor I would use for NeNe. But I guess they have plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company now.
