Music, News

Jay Electronica has finally, officially released his album Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn) after a leak of the project began circulating online. It’s currently available via TIDAL. Remarkably, the record has nearly the same tracklist as it did in 2012. That means that Act II credits Charlotte Gainsbourg, Serge Gainsbourg (for a prominent sample of “Bonnie and Clyde”), JAY-Z and The-Dream (on “Shiny Suit Theory”), and more. Listen below.

Jay Electronica released his debut mixtape Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge) in July 2007. Almost immediately, rumors swirled for years that Act II would arrive. This year, Jay Electronica released his formal debut A Written Testimony.
