Lala Kent Doesn’t Know If She Will Return To Vanderpump Rules Once She Has Her Baby

Reality TV

Even though the latest season of Vanderpump Rules has yet to start filming, Lala Kent has been all over the news as of late. Lala recently announced her pregnancy, and she’s having a girl! Now she has officially joined the VPR baby boom with her friends Stassi Schroeder and Brittany Cartwright who are also both expecting. It’s too bad camera’s aren’t rolling to capture Lala and the gang as they go through the ups and downs of pregnancy.

If cameras were rolling however, Stassi wouldn’t be there. She got fired this year for racist behavior, along with Kristen Doute. With a good portion of the OG’s gone, the question remains if Lala or the rest of the group will want to come back to the show as well. And will being pregnant determine Lala’s decision on whether she wants to be a part of Pump Rules next season?

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lala discussed the possible changes she might want to make in her life once she has her daughter. This includes the possibility of leaving Pump Rules, and altering her behavior towards her castmates. Looks like practicing good behavior is on hold for now though, as evidence of her recent spat with Scheana Shay.

In regards to returning to VPR, Lala shared she felt the same as Stassi. Stassi had noted on Tamron Hall’s show “that even if given the chance to return to the show, she would say no.” And that “she can’t reconcile being a mom and being on a reality show that’s largely based on feuding with friends.” If Stassi hadn’t been fired, we all know she would have loved her pregnancy filmed for the show.

Lala said, “I need to see what next season would entail. I need to make sure that’s a healthy space for me. I don’t get to think just about what’s good for Lala and how she would react to certain things, you know?” Am I the only one who finds it odd she always talks about herself in the third person? And how does her fiancé Randall Emmett put up with that full time?

Lala added, “I’m going to be a mother. … I have my own child looking up to me, so it would have to be the right situation. It’s a different zone now. Brittany and I are becoming moms, I just don’t see me walking into SUR clapping back at Danica [Dow] for serving me the wrong meal, you know? A lot is going to change.” Now that would be an interaction I would love to see because Danica would definitely hold her own.

If she did come back to the show, Lala wants to be a better role model for her daughter. Lala said, “I don’t want her to have a mom that’s popping off left and right. There’s a lot of things that are going to change. Now, I’m not saying I won’t clap back, because that’s just in my DNA but, yeah, I think I’m going to be much more delicate. I hope.” Let’s hope that includes her behavior towards James Kennedy, as I really miss their friendship on the show.

Lala added, “I just pray to God that my baby girl does much better than I have done, just is much sweeter, doesn’t have a short fuse, like, that’s what I’m praying for. I literally pray to God every night like, just give me a sweet little angel, because if she has my quick tongue? God help us all.” I think we can all agree on that!

It will be interesting to see if Lala actually does turn down VPR once they start filming again. And if she does come back to the show, will she actually change her behavior for her daughter. Now that SUR is back open again, they are one step closer to filming the show. And my guess is once they do, Lala will be there front and center.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK LALA WILL QUIT VPR? DO YOU THINK LALA WILL BE MORE “DELICATE” IF SHE STAYS ON THE SHOW? DO YOU THINK THEY WILL START FILMING VPR SOON?
