Deerhoof Surprise-Release New Covers Album Love-Lore: Listen

Deerhoof have released Love-Lore, a 35-minute, 43-song, live-in-the-studio covers medley album. The record is available now digitally, for free, via Joyful Noise. Check it out below.

Deerhoof recorded Love-Lore one afternoon at Rivington Rehearsal Studios on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The band had debuted the piece the previous night at the 2019 Time:Spans Festival. Love-Lore has music from the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, including compositions from Ornette Coleman, Gary Numan, the Police, Kraftwerk, John Williams, Ennio Morricone, the B-52s, Dionne Warwick, and many, many more.

Earlier this year, Deerhoof released the album Future Teenage Cave Artists.
