Right-wing activist Candace Owens has suggested that transgender activists are literally being controlled by Satan.
Owens, a vocal Trump supporter who previously worked for the alt-right group Turning Point USA, lashed out at trans activists on her PragerU internet series, The Candace Owens Show, on Sunday (September 6).
The activist was speaking to BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey, who has encouraged conservative parents to pull their children out of public school because of the so-called “trans agenda”.
Noting that not all parents can homeschool their kids, Owens said: “This is the trap the government provides…. how do you combat your child going into a kindergarten class, and this is actually the circumstance in some schools, where they are allowed to call your child by a different gender all day, and they’re not required to tell the parent?
“To me that is Satan, right? Satan is the author of lies and deception, and when I look at the face of this trans movement, and this trans agenda, and confusing kids… kids are already confused about everything, you know what I mean? And our job is to tell them what the truth is.
“And when I see that, I think this is actually Satanic, and I just don’t know what we say to those parents who can’t afford to take their kids out [of public schools].”

Owens has previously supported efforts to ban transgender people from the military, claiming: “I cannot think of anybody’s emotional capabilities that are more unstable than somebody that is transitioning from a male to a female.”
She told Glenn Beck in February: “I’m so outwardly against the trans movement. Don’t even get me started. They call me transphobic… give it to me! I know where this is going to end.
“That is one of the most dangerous things that’s happening right now. Weakening men, turning men into women. It is an evil thing that’s happening right now with the trans movement.”
Last year, Saved by the Bell actor Mario Lopez apologised for making “ignorant and insensitive” comments about trans children in a discussion with Owens.
