Stassi Schroeder Will Talk With Tamron Hall For First Interview Since Vanderpump Rules Firing

Reality TV

Vanderpump-Rules-Stassi-Schroeder

Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder has remained mum on her firing from the show in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement. Stassi and her co-star Kristen Doute were axed from the show in June, along with two newbie cast members, Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens. Max and Brett were shown the door when past racially insensitive tweets were discovered.

Kristen and Stassi called the police on their Pump Rules co-star Faith Stowers in 2018. The duo alleged that Faith had drugged men and stolen from them. Of course, there was no truth to their claims.

This wasn’t Stassi’s first foray into racist behavior. In 2017, Stassi complained about people who wanted more racial diversity in film. Really, Stassi?

As a result of her behavior, Stassi’s podcast was removed from all platforms, and many of her sponsors ditched her. She was also dropped by her public relations team.

Stassi and Kristen swiftly hired the same crises management team. On June 12, their new publicist, Steve Honig, issued a statement on their behalf.

Stassi and Kristen acknowledged what they did was wrong, have apologized and been punished. Without casting aside their actions or the impact of those actions, they want to move forward as part of the solution in ways that are productive, meaningful and sincere,” he said. “Both of them recognize actions speak louder than words and that is what will guide them as they move forward.”

Stassi did share some positive news when she announced that she and her fiancé, Beau Clark, are expecting a baby girl in January. And in a strange twist, Stassi and Pump Rules co-star Katie Maloney are once again friends with Kristen. The witches of WeHo aren’t “dunzo” after all! Maybe losing their jobs and atoning for their racially charged behavior mended Stassi and Kristen’s fractured friendship.

There were rumors that Stassi was going to get her own spin-off from Vanderpump Rules, but Lisa Vanderpump shut down the speculation and said that Stassi wasn’t getting her own show.

Now Stassi is finally ready to speak out about her firing. According to The Blast, Stassi will talk with Tamron Hall. The talk show issued a press release about the up-coming sit-down.

“On Thursday, Sept. 17, in an exclusive interview, Stassi Schroeder speaks for the first time after being let go from the hit Bravo series “Vanderpump Rules” – a result of her racially insensitive actions that resurfaced this past June. She will discuss how the incident and recently announced pregnancy have reshaped her perspective on work and life.”

Kristen also discussed her firing, and what she learned from it, during an interview on the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn. The complete interview will be released on September 9, 2020.
