Dorinda Medley Reported Lived In Apartment For Free In Exchange For Promoting It On Real Housewives Of New York And On Social Media

Real Housewives Of New York Dorinda Medley

There’s always a bit of mystery when it comes to a Real Housewife’s finances. Yes, they’re cast members on a hit reality TV show, which should bring in some money. Sure, there are Instagram sponsorships, but how much money can one person net when 727 other reality TV stars are schilling the same subscription box and hair vitamins?

That’s why it makes sense to leverage the platform and start a business. However, Dorinda Medley didn’t do that during her time on Real Housewives of New York. Yeah, she slapped her catchphrases on merchandise, but she didn’t build anything close to a Skinny Girl-esque empire. At least she didn’t have rent to pay. Yep, that’s right, apparently, she didn’t have to pay for her apartment thanks to her “fame” from being on the show.

According to Page Six, Dorinda lived rent-free in a $10,000-a-month apartment with three bedrooms. All she had to do was promote the place; i.e. film there as much as she could.

An insider told the outlet, “She did a great job getting attention for the place. The property company [was] very happy with it.”

She still lives in the building, but is that going to change since she just “left” Real Housewives of New York? Yeah, she can also “promote” the apartment on social media, but that’s not the same thing as featuring it on a super popular TV show.

Now,  I want to know if she leveraged her platform to get free repairs on her Berkshires home following that flood because she talked way too much about renovating the house this past season.
