Honest question: when it comes to Vanderpump Rules, what’s next? We all know that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute and two other guys no one cares about are gone. Rather, fired for racist behavior. And while fans were calling for Jax Taylor to be fired along with them, looks like he’s not going anywhere.
Lala Kent is sticking around too, as annoying as she can be. I’m guessing next season will focus more around her and fiancé, Randall Emmett. I mean honestly, we can’t watch another whole season of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney killing their pets, can we? But Lala and Randall already postponed their wedding due to coronavirus. So maybe by the time they start filming, things will have changed. And clearly, VPR is all aboard the filmed wedding train. Yes, we have gone from drunken fights in parking lots to….planning weddings. We’ve come a long way, but maybe a little too long if you catch my drift.
But now that Stassi and Kristen are gone, does that open up another door for Faith Stowers? According to Lala, yes. While Lala lost touch with Faith after her exit from the show amidst her cheating with Jax scandal, the two reconnected in 2018 after the death of Lala’s father. Lala recently shared her thoughts on Faith during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Reflecting on the recent scandal, Lala told the outlet, “That was how the line of communication was opened, and then, after hearing how she left the show — you know, there’s been a lot of people who have come onto the show and then not been on the show and, for me, whatever the reason may be that you didn’t return, I never want anyone to leave Vanderpump Rules with a pit in their stomach, because I know that feeling.”

She related Faith’s experience to her own disappearance from the show a couple seasons ago. Lala remarked, “I know the feeling of being scarred by an event and every time it’s mentioned, you get that heaviness. And so, I really just called to, to apologize for, for sending her off with that feeling. And you know, she was very receptive.”
Lala recalled, “And then when things went south, she’s like me. She’s a runner. You know, I did that too. When things got hot for me, I ran back to Utah. She did the same type of thing, so I can understand that.”

Lala continued, “No matter what anyone thinks — people tend to have amnesia when things like this happen — if you watch that season 4, you know all those episodes, Faith and I were thick. She was my best friend. We had sleepovers every single night, like, that was my girl.” Until she became friends with the rest of the cast and ditched Faith to sit with the “cool” girls.
Even though Lala followed the group consensus about Faith following the cheating scandal, Faith contacted Lala when her father passed away. Lala said, “When she reached out to me about my dad, that was — when anybody, I don’t care what we’ve been through, if you reached out to me about my dad, our slate was clean and we could start from square one.”

About Faith’s possible return, Lala says, “She is so much fun. We’ve had great times together, so I’m not opposed to it at all. If they called tomorrow and said, ‘Faith is coming back,’ I think a lot of us would welcome her with open arms. There’s a lot of things that have happened, but if you’ve seen Vanderpump Rules, we’ve done a lot of shady things to each other and we all bounce back from ’em!”
Faith has expressed her interest in returning, but I do think it might be hard for her to come back and try to deal with a bunch of people who make a living off drama. Then again, as long as Faith doesn’t subject us to a wedding planning storyline, I could get on board with that.
