Third Man Records has announced a forthcoming reissue of two albums by the Los Angeles alt-rock band that dog. Their second and third records, 1995’s Totally Crushed Out and 1997’s Retreat from the Sun, will come to vinyl for the first time on July 24.
Last year, that dog. returned with the release of Old, their first album since their 1997 breakup. The album featured contributions from Randy Newman, Blur’s Graham Coxon, and Maya Rudolph, who also appears alongside Jack Black in the band’s video for “Just the Way.” The band also reissued their self-titled debut to mark its 25th anniversary in 2019.
