Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 3-Month Subscription Only $23 In Online Sale

Movies

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives players access to both Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold, is on sale for only $23 for a three-month subscription (about half the usual asking price) on Amazon and Best Buy. However, the former offer is only available in the United States, so other regions might have to wait.

Xbox Game Pass has been the gold standard for game subscription services for a while now. Its library holds over 370 games, including titles such as Minecraft DungeonsGears TacticsRed Dead Redemption 2, and indie darlings like the Ori series. Microsoft changes and adds to this collection regularly, meaning that subscribers never run out of new games to play. Game Pass also grants users a flat 20 percent discount on game purchases within its vast library, as well as a 10 percent discount for all related add-ons. To sweeten the pot, Game Pass Ultimate combines Game Pass with Xbox Live Gold, meaning that players only have to keep track of one subscription for the “ultimate” Xbox experience.

Now, VG24/7 reports that the three-month subscription of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has gone on sale on Amazon and Best Buy for $23, as opposed to the usual $45 price. There’s no telling when ends for now, so fans that are interested in this discount should probably act fast. Best Buy had a similar sale earlier last month, so those who missed that one need not despair. However, those looking to stock up heavily should be aware that only 36 months of Game Pass Ultimate can be redeemed per account at a time.

Xbox Game Pass Ori Will Wisps Release

Game subscription services and their benefits are a great way for gamers who can’t afford every recent release to still get in on the action. With deals like this one, players receive hundreds of hours of gameplay for a virtual pittance. Additionally, the Game Pass library is a brilliant way to try out a game before committing to buying it, since spending $60 on a disappointment is never a good feeling, and Xbox Game Pass has one of the widest selections compared to its competitors, PlayStation Now and EA Access.

Not all players love these services, though, as some fans miss the days before digital game libaries, when they were able to own all their content outright. There has been a significant transition over the last few years from discs to download codes. The concept of a games subscription service isn’t a new one, though, as services like GameFly were operating on similar business models as early as 2002. As subscriptions become more and more affordable and storage space becomes less and less of an issue on consoles, things like the Xbox Game Pass might become the ideal – or only – way to play.
