Stassi Schroeder’s Podcast Has Been Removed From All Platforms After Vanderpump Rules Firing

Just yesterday, the reality television world was given quite the shakeup. Bravo announced on June 9th that Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and newbies Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were all fired for racist behavior. While many networks and companies are posting about the Black Lives Matter movement, it’s amazing to see a company like Bravo take such bold, public action. I truly feel that this is just the beginning of a long line of changes to be made in the entertainment industry. This is definitely a step in the right direction, as many Bravo stars agree.

Stassi has been feeling the effects of both her behavior and her firing. She’s been dropped by her agent, her PR firm, and many brands have cut all ties with her. And the fallout doesn’t seem to show any signs of stopping.

As Us Weekly reported, Stassi’s podcast Straight Up With Stassi has been removed from all platforms following her firing. Radio.com, who broadcasts the podcast, released a statement via Instagram. “We recently learned of racially charged and inappropriate actions by Stassi Schroeder during one of her previous projects. In light of this, Radio.com has made the decisions to part ways with her.”

“We take these matters very seriously and condemn these actions. ‘Straight Up with Stassi’ has been removed from our portfolio,” they wrote. The podcast was also removed from streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Stitcher.

It comes as no surprise that Stassi’s podcast was removed. While Stassi’s actions against former castmate Faith Stowers have come back into the spotlight, Stassi also made racially charged comments on her podcast. It makes sense that these platforms wouldn’t want this type of content on their sites.

Stassi has yet to comment on her firing and the subsequent brand deals that she has lost. I know I’m not alone in wondering how Stassi is going to pay for her brand new multi-million dollar mansion and her destination wedding in Italy after losing her primary source of income. Regardless, I applaud Bravo, as well as the other brands/companies who have parted ways with Stassi, for practicing what they preach. It’s amazing to see a network to put doing the right thing before ratings.

While many fans appreciated Bravo’s firing decision, I don’t think Bravo is done cleaning house just yet. Many fans are calling for the network to investigate other stars, like Jax Taylor. Only time will tell if Bravo, and other networks, will continue in a similar fashion. All I know is, fans of the reality show world are watching.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK STASSI WILL BE ABLE TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION? DO YOU THINK BRAVO WILL CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE OTHER STARS’ BEHAVIOR?
