Music, News

Ahead of schedule, Run the Jewels have released their long-awaited new album RTJ4. You can listen to it below and get it for free at the RTJ website. Along with the previously released “ooh la la” and “yankee and the brave (ep. 4),” the album has contributions from Mavis Staples, 2 Chainz, Zach De La Rocha, Josh Homme, Pharrell, and more. It’s the follow-up to Run the Jewels 3, which was released back in 2016.

“Fuck it, why wait,” the duo wrote explaining the early release. “The world is infested with bullshit so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there.”

Killer Mike recently delivered an emotional speech to Atlanta protestors. He also discussed the protests against racism and police violence on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Run the Jewels are encouraging fans to donate to organizations fighting for justice, change, and equality. The duo highlights the National Lawyers Guild. Find RTJ’s recommended organizations at their website.
