There has been a lot of talk about who, and who isn’t, returning for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Speculation has been swirling that long-time cast member Cynthia Bailey will lose her peach. And for a surprising twist, RHOA alum, and thong enthusiast, Phaedra Parks might be getting hers back.
Cynthia’s boyfriend, Mike Hill, popped the question on July 26, 2019. Of course, Bravo cameras were rolling to document every moment of the sweet proposal.
According to HollywoodLife, Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle Robinson, resides in Los Angeles, as does Cynthia’s fiancé, Mike. There isn’t really a reason for Cynthia to live in Atlanta anymore.
So, could Cynthia be the first Housewife to ever change franchises? Could she trade in her peach for a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ diamond? Cynthia is friends with RHOBH newbie Garcelle Beauvais, so she does know people from that franchise.

On May 17, Cynthia told HollywoodLife, “There’s been a lot of talk about me transitioning to [RHOBH], and I’m quite friendly with a lot of the ladies on [RHOBH] as well. I don’t know what the future holds for me,” Cynthia shared. “All I know is whatever God wants Cynthia Bailey to do, that’s what I will do.”
Cynthia said, “I’ve been on [RHOA] for 11 years. I never signed on to be on it for the rest of my life, so I don’t worry about it. When the network decides it’s time for me to go, I’m going to go.”

In a video clip, Cynthia explained how she feels about an Atlanta Housewives cast shake-up. “I mean, I’m not opposed to a cast shake-up. But if it means you’re getting fired, then you probably don’t want to do a shake-up,” Cynthia stated.
The model is still hoping that she can share her wedding planning with viewers. “I would like to be able to at least show where I’m at in my life with my wedding right now, but I’m pretty good. Bravo’s been good to me and Truly Original has been really good to me, and there is life after the show,” Cynthia said.

“I have a lot of things in life that I do other than the show. It’s good. It’s good,” she added.
It would be a bold experiment to have a Housewife hop to a different franchise. I am here for it, but I don’t know if Cynthia is the best choice. She would need to up her shade game to hang with the very dramatic RHOBH ladies.
