90 Day Fiance Star Jorge Nava Released From Prison

Reality TV

90 Day Fiance alum Jorge Nava is a free man in every sense of the word.  First, he completed his two and a half year prison sentence.  During his time in jail, he also announced his separation from wife Anfisa Nava.  She moved on with another man while Jorge was gone, but claimed the marriage was already on the rocks and a split was inevitable.  So, after a difficult couple of years, Jorge has an opportunity to reinvent and reshape his life.

Jorge shared some of his life goals while in prison.  He plans to return to the marijuana business, though legally this time.  He also revealed a 128 pound weight loss.  Though Jorge changed physically, the weight loss was part of the emotional and spiritual journey that he shared with his fan base.  Last month Jorge shared a positive outlook about his release.  “I’m getting released soon, and all [the] positive feedback that I’m getting from strangers, like on social media and stuff like that,” he explained, “it’s just giving me this really good hope, this really good feeling…about my new beginning, really.”

Now that Jorge is out of prison, he is celebrating his freedom and documenting it on social media.  This week, Jorge posted to Instagram for the first time as a free man.  He shared a series of pictures of himself sitting on the hood of a white sports car.  The text says “the sky is the limit,” with a hashtag and the word “freedom.”
