Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is finally engaged to sweet, loveable Beau Clark. Beau popped the question at a cemetery. Who says romance is dead? The only person not invited to celebrate at the engagement party was Kristen Doute.
Viewers of Pump Rules have watched this season as Stassi and Katie Maloney kicked Kristen out of the Witches of WeHo. Katie and Stassi made it clear at the wine launch for their rose Potion No. 2 that they also wanted to end this business arrangement with Kristen.
Of course, Kristen and Stassi’s feud raged on across social media. Kristen dissed Stassi’s podcast on Twitter, and Stassi clapped back that she never criticized any of Kristen’s work projects.
The breakdown of this trio’s friendship was confusing. Was it all because Kristen refused to cut her ex-boyfriend, Brian Carter, out of her life? Or because Katie and Stassi thought that Kristen was actually still dating Carter and lying about it? Now it seems like Kristen’s attempt to cast Stassi and Katie as the “Bitches of WeHo” is what soured the friendship.

US Weekly reported that Stassi and Katie explained why their friendship with Kristen ended on Stassi’s podcast Straight Up With Stassi on Friday, April 24. (Please note there is some rough grammar ahead.)
“It’s such a layered thing,” Katie commented.
“It’s not simple at all. This is the opposite of a -and-white situation. These feelings started to develop two years ago,” Stassi stated.

The duo agreed to help Kristen address her relationship with her ex, Carter, on camera. These alleged conversations happened before production on the season started. But when the cameras were rolling, Kristen flipped the script.
Stassi remarked that Kristen “defended Carter as if these conversations had never happened” and that she “made us look like bitches.”
“It became really difficult when she would defend him so aggressively to us on camera but then off-camera, it was a very different situation. She still wanted to have these heart to hearts and a shoulder to cry on and we would still obviously offer that to her because she was our best friend and we still were supportive of her,” Katie shared.

This new tea that Katie and Stassi spilled explains a lot about why the duo treated Kristen harshly. Katie added, “But then, the next time we talked about it on camera, it was the same thing again where she would be aggressively defending him and coming after us and treating us like we were horrible friends for putting in this position, the position she had put herself in.”
Kristen’s unhealthy relationship with Carter wasn’t the death knell for her friendship with Stassi. Stassi said, “We’re not mad that you’re in a s–tty relationship. I am mad that you are us look like friends.” (I am going out on a limb and saying that Stassi meant “like bad friends.”)

She may have been kicked out of the Witches of WeHo, but Kristen’s love life is on the upswing. That’s right–Kristen has a new man! Kristen is in a relationship with Alex Menache, who happens to be friends with Pump Rules star, and Katie’s possible husband, Tom Schwartz. I am sure that isn’t awkward at all!
