Sam Raimi‘s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was originally set for release in May 2021 before being bumped to November 2021, and now it’s already been bumped again.

Raimi’s return to the world of Marvel will now release on March 25, 2022.

Benedict Cumberbatch will return as Doctor Strange in the sequel, with Benedict WongChiwetel Ejiofor and Elizabeth Olsen also expected to reprise their MCU roles.

Jade Bartlett wrote the script, also being worked on by Michael Waldron.
