For years, Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers have been invested in the Manzo/Laurita family members. We met Dina Manzo and Caroline Manzo during the show’s very first episode. They are sisters who were married to the Manzo brothers. Dina has since divorced and re-married.
Jacqueline Laurita was another OG RHONJ cast member. She is married to Caroline and Dina’s brother Chris Laurita. Dina and Caroline have been infamously estranged for years, but it’s unclear if they had been in contact recently because of a family tragedy. Chris, Dina, and Caroline’s father Joseph Laurita has passed away.
Caroline told her Instagram followers, “His favorite song was ‘My Way’, and that’s exactly how he lived his life. His way. A tougher man there never was, and in his final days he showed that strength over and over again. May God bless you always, Dad, and grant you eternal peace. Know that you were loved. Forever in our hearts.” As usual, very well said, Caroline. That was such a sweet tribute to her father.
Dina shared a video of her dad walking and wrote “I’ll love you forever and always Daddy. You can rest now 4•20•20.” In response, Teresa Giudice commented, “[Our] daddy’s are together drinking wine. Love you.” Teresa’s father passed away earlier this month. Dina replied to Teresa, “I told Gia [Giudice] they are up there flirting with all the angels.”
Melissa Gorga commented, “So sorry Dina.” Kim DePaola aka Kim D commented on Dina’s post with “my deepest condolences.”

Chris posted a throwback photo of his dad and shared, “Yesterday we lost the strongest man I’ve ever known. Right up until the last breath he taught me how to fight and to NEVER give up. He encouraged me to face all the challenges life throws at you head on! I’ll keep fighting Dad and I promise you I will never give up. I’m sure you’re already watching over all of us. R.I.P 4-20-20.”
In response, his wife Jacqueline commented, “Your dad was a man that did the best he knew how, who remained married to the only woman he truly loved and raised 11b beautiful children together through all the trials and tribulations never once giving up! He was a fighter and a provider to the end! may god bless and rest his soul!! XOXO.”
