Watch Beyoncé Sing “When You Wish Upon a Star” as Tribute to Health Care Workers

Beyoncé sang part of “When You Wish Upon a Star” during ABC’s The Disney Family Singalong, which aired tonight as a tribute to healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Please be safe, don’t give up hope. We’re going to get through this. I promise,” she says. Watch her clip below.

Ariana Grande also joined the program, taking on the song “I Won’t Say I’m in Love” from Disney’s Hercules. Unlike Beyoncé’s simple piano-and-voice arrangement, Grande goes all out in nodding to Hercules’ female protaganist Meg and the movie’s gospel-singing Greek chorus.

Last year, Beyoncé provided the voice of Nala in Disney’s CGI reboot of The Lion King, leading the film’s soundtrack and augmenting it with the separate compilation The Lion King: The Gift.
