Lala Kent Wants Lisa Vanderpump Back On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills; Lala Wants To Join Her As A Housewife

There truly is a first for everything. For once, I agree with Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent on something, and it has to do with the queen of Beverly Hills herself: Lisa Vanderpump.

As a long-time Housewives fan, there’s something so disconcerting about an OG leaving the franchise, and that was certainly the case when Lisa Vanderpump hung up her crown and said goodbye to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after 9 seasons. But should the animal-loving, Dolce & Gabanna-wearing LVP ever have a change of heart, well, I’m not the only one who would welcome her back to the series with open arms.

Lala recently spoke to People abouther hopes of a Lisa return to RHOBH. “She offers so much depth to that show, which I love. I love watching her fight for the animals. I think every reality TV show needs some sort of positive platform and Lisa Vanderpump brings that,” Lala stated.

Honestly, Lala makes great sense here for once. While each of the RHOBH ladies has a hobby or career that serves as their storyline for the show, from Dorit Kemsley’s Beverly Beach swimwear line, to Erika Jayne’s music career, it is so evident that Lisa is and always has been passionate about animal rights, and that it’s not just something put on for the show. Over the years on the show, Lisa has used her platform to raise awareness and do her part in stopping things like the Yulin Dog Festival, and to start the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation. Say what you want about her, but at least Lisa uses her platform to do some good in the world.

But Lisa may not be in such a hurry to return to RHOBH, mainly in part to the way she left things off with her co-stars. “I’ve been in a position where the whole cast has been against me before. But this time, our foundation was taking a bashing from the women, and it didn’t deserve it. And suddenly, to start dealing with them all screaming and shouting at me on that first trip [to the Bahamas], I thought, ‘What the hell am I doing?’ And that was really it,” Lisa said, speaking to People.

You know what, I can’t blame her for thinking that way. As we saw on Season 9, the ladies collectively turned against Lisa at a time when she was more vulnerable than usual after suffering the loss of her brother Mark. And with Dorit’s puppy-gate getting blown out of proportion, I think Lisa came to the realization that she didn’t need this kind of negativity in her life.

When Housewives first started, the drama was pettier and more lighthearted. Today, the arguments can get vicious. The popularity of Lisa’s brands has exploded over the last several years. I mean, the woman has her own cocktail garden in Caesar’s Palace. She’s moved past the stage of having a circle of jealous, backstabbing “friends” attack her on television.

But perhaps Lisa would consider a return to Housewives if she had a guaranteed ally in her corner. She can bring in none other than Lala Kent. Recently, Lala has expressed her desperation desire to pick up a diamond and join the RHOBH ladies. “I’ve always loved Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I think it’s epic,” Kent said in a statement to People. “So, to be a part of something like that and having [a] Vanderpump Rules starter kit as my training … yeah that’d be epic.”

While I don’t know how well Lala would fit in with the rest of the cast, all I know is, if Lisa and Lala joined forces on RHOBH, I don’t think I would ever miss an episode.
