For the past few seasons, it’s been tough for Vanderpump Rules viewers to sympathize with Katie Maloney. However, on tonight’s episode, her own husband, Tom Schwartz, really crosses a line. He talks down to her and humiliates her in front of the entire cast. And, oh yeah, the Vanderpump Rules viewers. Usually, the fans side with Schwartz just because he normally has such a lovable disposition. But, it will be very interesting to see how the Pump Rules fans feel after tonight’s episode. #TeamKatie on this one. This one time.
In other news, the cast gets together to celebrate Jax Taylor’s 40th birthday. Yeah, I know that we celebrate his birthday during every season of this show, but we also focused on his wedding for the first half of this current season. Can we get a break from the Jax-centered celebrations? Please. There are 13,000 other cast members on this show.
In honor of Jax’s birthday, Tom Sandoval and Max Boyens decide to toilet paper his house. That’s just annoying as hell, to be honest. However, this juvenile prank sets everything to motion, culminating with Schwartz insulting his own wife in front of everyone.
Before the Tom and Katie drama at Jax’s birthday, Scheana Marie does an interview for Brett Caprioni’s YouTube channel. He has the nerve to call the 34-year-old woman “middle-aged” and just isn’t very nice to her. Then again, Brett has used his screentime to talk shit about Scheana all season. No one is surprised by this. Scheana, do not be friends with this guy.

Katie hosts a girls night at her house with every female cast member, except for Kristen Doute. She even invites the new girls, who she has zero relationship with. Was this just to make Kristen feel even worse about being excluded? Or was she genuinely trying to get to know the new cast members? Or was this all orchestrated by the Vanderpump Rules production team? Most likely, a combination of all three.
At this girls night, Lala Kent continues to be ruthlessly mean to Raquel Leviss. This girl did nothing to Lala, yet Lala is acting like she is the one who should stand up for herself. Meanwhile, Lala tried to “out” James Kennedy during last week’s episode. Absolutely cruel. It’s nice to see Raquel standing up for herself in ressponse to Lala’s blatant hypocrisy. Let’s go, Raquel!
