Larry David Appears on Ezra Koenig’s Time Crisis: Listen

Music, News

Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig and co-host Jake Longstreth have started running weekly episodes of their Beats 1 show Time Crisis via FaceTime. During this week’s episode, regular TC guest Cazzie David called in to the show. During her call, her father Larry David—the icon behind Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld—barged into his daughter’s room, told her that she needed to clean it up, and then started asking who was on the phone. Larry David then discussed being a germaphobe and anti-handshake prior to the coronavirus pandemic. Check out the full episode here.

The episode also featured a check-in with Tim Heidecker surrounding the release of his new Adult Swim show with Eric Wareheim, Beef House. They also discussed the prescient nature of his 2016 song “Work From Home” and how Tim & Eric’s most recent live show involved a joke about having to quarantine the audience.
