Demi Lovato really, really wants to make out with Rihanna

Demi Lovato has returned to The Ellen Degeneres Show to remind Rihanna just how much she wants to make out with her.

Two years ago the Grammy-nominated singer made her feelings for Rihanna very clear when she played “Who Would You Rather?” on Ellen’s show.

Lovato describes her sexuality as fluid and has said she’s open to finding love with someone of any gender. But when put to the test she firmly picked Rihanna over all of Ellen’s hypothetical celebrity flings, including Harry Styles, Zac Efron, Drake and Rita Ora – that is, until Niall Horan popped up on screen.

She was back in the hot seat today to promote her upcoming movie Eurovision, and Ellen couldn’t resist asking whether she has heard from Rihanna since she professed her crush on national television.

“I assume she’s called you?” Ellen asked.

“She hasn’t!” Lovato cried, adding: “I don’t take offence; she is Rihanna.”

“Rihanna, how dare you,” Ellen said to the camera.

“Look, I just wanna make out, OK?” Lovato laughed. “I mean, we could do a song together too. Maybe we make out in the video.”

The conversation then seamlessly segued into a discussion about Lovato’s dating life. Ellen asked if the singer is currently on any dating apps, to which she replied that she’s taking some time to be single.

“No, I was on dating apps for a while,” she said, growing serious. “[But] as I’ve spent some time with myself over the past couple of months I realised that I am the type of person that will find any way to regulate when I’m sad or lonely or whatever.

“I have to fight those battles on my own, and I can’t let somebody come in and fix those issues for me.

“So right now I’m single and I’m spending my Saturday nights by myself… laughing, taking baths!”

Rihanna, you know where to find her.
