Nanotechnology Can’t Reassemble ‘Bloodshot’ Hype with Weak New Imagery

Horror

I’m a huge fan of Valiant Comics, who took on mainstream publishers with their crude artwork and (IMO) better storytelling.

It was only a matter of time until we’d see the Valiant comics come to life on the big screen, unfortunately, it’s launching with the not-so-great-looking Bloodshot, which stars Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison, a man who is brought back from the dead as a lethal weapon, thanks to Rising Spirit Technologies’ use of nanotechnology.

While I was initially excited as there’s some really cool imagery in the trailers, they’re actually pretty generic looking, and it doesn’t help that Diesel looks nothing like the character. In fact, I’ve tired of seeing the trailers in theaters and my excitement has flatlined. With that, I share the official image gallery, which looks just an uninspired. God, I hope I’m wrong.

Bloodshot will arrive in theaters on March 13, 2020, and open against Blumhouse and Universal’s The Hunt.
