Kim DePaola Claims Andy Cohen Told Her She Deserves Her Own Show

Viewers love to complain about the “villains” on reality TV shows, but the truth is that we need those people. Without the pot stirrers bothering our favorite cast members, we would have nothing to root for, zero drama to be invested in.

Currently, the main Real Housewives of New Jersey villain is Danielle Staub. Even though she isn’t even a full-time cast member, she’s the show’s OG bad guy. Then, there were two ladies named Kim: Kim Granatell and Kim DePaola, better known as Kim G and Kim D. And, of course, (almost) all of the main cast members have a had at least one villain moment. Nevertheless, Kim D provided the viewers with a lot of iconic moments. She continued to come back until she truly wasn’t welcome, never actually securing a full-time spot on the show. Never, eber.

It was blatantly obvious to anyone with eyes that Kim D was thirsting for a full-time role as a Real Housewife of New Jersey. It was just never going to happen, just like Marlo Hampton’s quest to get a peach in Atlanta, Kim was never going to utter a tagline in the introduction for RHONJ. However, she was close to getting her own reality TV show. Well, allegedly. Truthfully, I find it tough to believe anything that Kim D says. Ever.

During a recent interview on the Out in the Wild podcast, Kim D claimed, “Andy Cohen has said to many people, including Siggy [Flicker] and Dolores [Catania], ‘Kim D is not a Housewife. Kim D should have her own show. She’s not a Housewife, OK?’ Came from the king. Andy Cohen’s the king.” Sure, Kim D. I would love to hear Andy’s take on these alleged remarks.

Kim continued to claim that Andy emphasized, “She’s not a Housewife,” as if that’s some sort of insult when it’s clear that Kim desperately wanted to be a Housewife.

Kim D added, “I was married twice. I was in a very significant, long relationship, thirteen years, [with] a man that passed away seven years ago. But, I was never a Housewife.” And you never will be, Kim.
