Janelle Monáe to Perform at Oscars 2020

This Sunday (February 9), the 2020 Oscars take place. It’s now been announced that the show will feature a special performance from Janelle Monáe. She joins a broadcast that will feature a performance from Billie Eilish. Best Original Song nominees Elton John, Randy Newman, and Cynthia Erivo are also set to perform.

Monáe’s last album was 2018’s Dirty Computer. She stars in the upcoming film Antebellum. She also appeared in Disney’s Lady and the Tramp remake.
