In celebration of 35 years of Alien a few years back, NECA released the first-ever action figures of Ellen Ripley that featured the likeness and approval of Sigourney Weaver, and next year they’re taking their figure of Ripley from the original classic to a whole new level.
Previewed as a special little Christmas treat this week, NECA is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s Alien with a brand new Ultimate Ripley action figure next year!
The new figure includes “new accessories, a new head sculpt, photo real printed face deco, kenner homage packaging & more.”
Photo real technology allows for companies like NECA to capture character/actor likenesses better than ever before, so expect this figure to be incredibly impressive once it’s finished.
