Stranger Things’ Charlie Heaton Says New Mutants Will Be Released Next Year!

Horror

The movie that never seemed to be getting a release date seems to be finally coming out next year.

Before Disney bought Fox, thus absorbing the X-Men, The New Mutants was due to hit the big screen on April 13, 2018. Then the X-Men Horror film was pushed back 10 months to February 22, 2019, then was pushed even further back to August 2, 2019.

No one thought that this film would see the light of day but recently Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton – who his set to play Cannonball; an American mutant who can propel himself into the air and is invulnerable while doing so – has an update on the film:

“… It’s coming out next year, but we filmed it almost two years ago. It’s the release [date] that’s been moved quite a while … We shot this a while back and it’s been pushed because Fox has now merged with Disney.”

So now we have a fourth pseudo release date for the first X-Men horror film. Only time will tell if we actually see it this time.
