Lisa Vanderpump Open To Rebuilding Friendship With Former Co-Star Denise Richards

You might be wondering why the media won’t give up on Lisa Vanderpump and anything to do with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The simple fact is, the loss of Lisa is a huge blow to the franchise. Whether you love Lisa or consider her the mind-manipulating force behind orchestrated canine scandals, you are kidding yourself if you think it’s over.

When Lisa left the show, she also left her friendships in the dust. She said buh-bye to her close relationship with Kyle Richards after Bangs visited Lisa’s house to accuse her of lying. Lisa was never particularly close to Erika Jayne, because no one gets close to a riddle wrapped in migraines and designer sneakers. And let’s be honest, who really wants to be friends with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave? So what does that mean for the rest of the gang? Well, Lisa says she is interested in maintaining a friendship with at least one of them. I’m sure it will be totally fine with the other ladies…

Lisa isn’t trying to rebuild her shattered bond with Dorit Kemsley. Not after LVP swore on her kids, dogs, Ken Todd’s new hip, and a pile of cash that she had nothing to do with leaking any gossip to a rag mag. When Dorit refused to forgive Lisa for not doing anything wrong, their relations held as much weight as Dorit’s empty purse. Lisa Rinna isn’t the chosen one either, because, Rinna. So who does that leave? You guessed it, Beverly Hills’ own nature-girl and happy-ending aficionado, Denise Richards.

Lisa spoke with Us Weekly about opening communication with Denise going forward. “With Denise, I really don’t know her very well, she was always really quite nice to me. I heard — I didn’t watch the show — that she got caught up in nastiness against me at the end or whatever, but I didn’t have a relationship with her prior to the show.” Speaking of nastiness, there was also a messy situation regarding Denise’s foster dogs and Vanderpump Dogs quite literally coming to the rescue during the Malibu fires. That was never aired on the show, probably because production was pissed Lisa walked away. A social media battle did ensue, John Sessa and his bare chest also got involved. Now it seems Lisa is not holding any grudges over the incident.

Lisa might enjoy a future with Denise because it was the busy actress’ first season on RHOBH and they had no previous beef. While Lisa was still filming, she seemed to enjoy Denise’s carefree attitude and willingness to discuss her husband’s penis size. “It wasn’t like there was any existing cohesion, or a thing like, I really wanted to rebuild it with Denise. I’m sure she’s a very nice woman.”

People might be sick of the constant Vanderpump talk in relation to RHOBH but she will be a phantom cast member going into Season 10. She might not be there physically, but she is certainly on the minds of Bangs her old friends, whether they want to own it or not. It would be a surprise to no one that Lisa’s name is mentioned frequently, and possibly with malice, throughout the season despite her absence.

After all, she didn’t win Best Female Reality TV Star in an awards ceremony we’ve never heard of for nothing. We’ll have to wait and see if Denise responds to being the Chosen One or if she’s good with her Hallmark movies and being on Kyle’s good side.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK LISA AND DENISE WILL BE FRIENDS? WOULD THE OTHER RHOBH LADIES BE MAD IF DENISE AND LISA HAD A FRIENDSHIP? SHOULD DENISE LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE?
