Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga’s father Giacinto Gorga, better known as “Nonno,” has become a lovable fixture on Real Housewives of New Jersey. He’s been on the show a lot throughout the years, especially since he moved in with Teresa and her four daughters.
Unfortunately, Nonno is going through a tough time right now. Teresa left BravoCon early to rush her father to the hospital.
Radar Online reported that the RHONJ OG broke the news herself in an Instagram Story. She shared a video of an ambulance, which I personally think is a bit much. Then again, we live in an age where receipts are everything. I can see why she would feel pressured to share what was going on.
Along with the video, Tre wrote, “Sorry, BravoCon fans. I had to leave. My dad doesn’t feel well. I’m taking him to the hospital.” Poor, Nonno.

Teresa’s brother Joe told Radar that their dad is “doing alright.” He also said, “He’s still in the hospital. I don’t know when he’ll be released.” A source told the website that Teresa has remained by her father’s side the whole time.
There are no additional details about why Nonno is in the hospital, but Teresa did discuss his health during a Real Housewives of New Jersey panel during BravoCon. People reported that she told the fans in the audience, “He’s not doing that great. His breathing is still bad.”

This family has already been through so much. The RHONJ viewers know how close Teresa and Joe are with their father. This has to be such a tough time for them and their kids.
Before his hospital stay, Nonno visited his son-in-law Joe Giudice in Italy. He was even there before Teresa and her four daughters arrived, living it up having the best time. Hopefully, he can return to fun times of that nature in the very near future!
