NeNe Leakes Refers To Latest Real Housewives Of Atlanta Episode As The “Real Premiere” Since She Wasn’t In The Others

Reality TV

Nobody loves NeNe Leakes more than NeNe Leakes. She is the last OG standing on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she’s not afraid to say it. On the season premiere, her absence was very clearly the elephant in the room. There was a lot to say ABOUT NeNe, but no sight of her. Following the premiere, she was absent for the second episode as well.

Can there be a successful season without NeNe? Kenya Moore is back, but NeNe isn’t taking her very seriously. In NeNe’s eyes, she’s the one and only star of the show. If you’re a fan of the “rich bitch”, you’ll be thrilled she made her return on the most recent episode. However, that doesn’t mean that she didn’t have A LOT to say prior to it airing (and after).

NeNe began shading her costars on Instagram, and the result was HILARIOUS. In the first of three Instagram posts she said, “Just like DAT’ she’s back for the PREMIERE of RHOA TOMORROW @ 8pm on Bravo! They tried real hard on the pre-show hunni but it didn’t work! The #HBIC #OC #the1 See ya’ll tomorrow.”

The shade of it all! NeNe is casting an entire umbrella over ALL of Atlanta with THAT post. A lot of the premiere was centered around babies, which wasn’t exactly thrilling television. With the reintroduction of NeNe comes some guaranteed drama and a change in pace.

In a second Instagram post she said, “Can’t NOBODY do it like NeNe. They try tho…HARD! See ya’ll TONIGHT for the PREMIERE of #RHOA at 8pm only on @bravotv #hbic #OG #the1 #bloop #thedoorisclosed #byewig #hihaters.”

It’s allegedly an ensemble cast, but the way NeNe speaks makes it seem like it’s just about her. Is NeNe the only star of Atlanta? Kandi Burruss & Cynthia Bailey have been on the show for many many seasons. Do their contributions not count?

NeNe closed the door on her friendships with everyone at last season’s reunion. Despite the many months that have passed, there isn’t much difference. She’s shading everyone and seemingly on the outs with most of the cast.

Perhaps NeNe is simply there to get a check and not worried about any real friendships. That was echoed loud and clear in yet another Instagram post. She’s so shy.

After the most recent episode NeNe posted on Instagram, “Hey ladies, I was here for all the shade! Now when I give it back, don’t be too sensitive and have amnesia! You know how y’all like to play victim.” OOF. She is BIG MAD.

As the season progresses we will likely get a better picture of the shade and “amnesia” to come. We know things are NOT good with Kenya. Although, holding out hope that she will makeup with longtime friend Cynthia.

NeNe and Cynthia have been friends off and on for ages, it would be a shame to see it end. However, NeNe’s recent comments might point in a direction against reconciliation.

Naturally, Cynthia is the one you’d assume was the aggressive one in their friendship. Wait. Which one assaulted a cameraman? BLOOP. The footage doesn’t lie.

Even if it’s all shade and negative comments, NeNe’s posts were belly laugh level funny. She knows how to make herself the most talked about woman in the room. THIS IS GOING TO BE SUCH A GOOD SEASON.
