Book Review: “First We Drown”

Book Review: “First We Drown”

Books

Never judge a book by its cover, a great one by the way, as that would be a red herring. When escaping from life’s struggles and you find yourself possibly regretting your decision, needless to say, staying at home would be an understatement. We’ve all felt this before in some way but not like this one. After reviewing First We Drown by author Rebecca Salas, I found her novel to be unique and intriguing. I felt the main character Cora was a good one. The book contains a mysterious edge and vibe throughout. It took me about five hours to read straight through as I was too intrigued to put it down. If you’re looking for a dark, fairytale-esque beautifully written story, look no further than First We Drown. If there is ever a sequel to this, I will definitely be picking it up.

Overall I would recommend this novel to all of my readers.
