This should be a happy time for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille. She and her husband Michael Sterling just welcomed a baby boy named Maverick. They already had another son together, Michael, and Eva’s daughter Marley from her previous relationship with Kevin McCall.
Kevin and five-year-old Marley have been estranged for years, but now he wants that to change. He has filed for shared custody of his daughter. However, that’s not Kevin’s only legal issue. He’s also facing a year in jail. That’s not gonna help his custody case.
Bossip reported that Kevin filed for joint shared custody of Marley. He also wants a piece of Eva’s RHOA checks, hoping to receive child support as well. Of course, he does.
Kevin hasn’t seen Marley since 2015. He has accused Eva of purposely erasing him from his daughter’s life. Eva has changed Marley’s last name from “McCall” to “Sterling.” Ouch.

Kevin has also requested a “guardian ad litem,” who would be responsible for representing Marley’s best interests and reporting to the judge.
Kevin says that he is stable, working full time, and that it’s good for Marley to have both biological parents in her life. That all sounds good… minus his other legal issues.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kevin has been charged with domestic violence, but the documents do not say who filed those charges. In the documents, it lists “Inflict Corporal Injury to Spouse or Cohabitant.” He is currently facing one year of jail time.
He was supposed to show up for a hearing in August, but he pulled a Gina Kirscheneheiter did not. Now, there’s a bench warrant and the hearing has been rescheduled.
