‘Bumblebee’ Director Travis Knight Set to Direct Tom Holland in Sony’s ‘Uncharted’ Movie

In the wake of Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) exiting the director’s chair, Deadline is reporting today that Travis Knight is now on board to helm Sony’s Uncharted adaptation.

Knight’s directorial credits include Kubo and the Two Strings and Bumblebee.

Tom Holland is set to play Nathan Drake in the adaptation of the popular video game.

“The Uncharted film has a story line that captures the protagonist as a young man, as he grows into the treasure hunter Nathan Drake.”

The adaptation was written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins.
