YG Assault Lawsuit Dismissed: Report

Music, News

YG is no longer facing a lawsuit stemming from an alleged assault in Las Vegas, The Blast reports. Benjamin Naderi, the man who was suing YG, had previously claimed that YG and an entourage assaulted him at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in May 2018. Nederi also claimed that YG stole his jewelry.

Last year, along with the lawsuit, YG was charged with felony robbery stemming from the alleged incident. The Compton rapper was subsequently indicted on the robbery charge, as well as felony counts of grand larceny and larceny from a person, The Blast reported and Pitchfork can confirm. YG is set for a jury trial on Monday, March 9, 2020, representatives from the Office of the Clark County District Attorney tell Pitchfork.

Pitchfork has reached out to YG’s representatives and his lawyer Shawn Perez.
