Music, News

Yasiin Bey, formerly Mos Def, released his debut solo album Black on Both Sides in October 1999. In November, he’ll perform that album in full at Brooklyn Steel. The show takes place on November 3, and the show will be opened by Camp Lo. Tickets go on sale this Friday. Black on Both Sides featured Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, Talib Kweli, and more.

The show takes place about a week before Yasiin is set to perform at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw 2019. The lineup also features Tyler, Solange, FKA twigs, Earl Sweatshirt, and BROCKHAMPTON. Earlier this year, he appeared on the new Freddie Gibbs and Madlib album.
