Syfy Has Already Pulled the Plug On Their Planned “Lobo” Solo Series

Horror

Announced just two months ago, Syfy had been planning a “Krypton” spinoff series centered entirely on DC Comics character “Lobo,” who had been introduced in the second season of “Krypton” and played by actor Emmett J. Scanlan. Unfortunately, Syfy has pulled the plug not only on “Krypton” today after just two seasons, but also on the planned “Lobo” solo series.

THR reports today, “the Lobo spinoff will not move forward at the cable network, though producers Warner Horizon will shop the pilot elsewhere.”

“Krypton” showrunner Cameron Welsh was overseeing the spinoff project.

The “Krypton” series, telling the untold story of Superman’s grandfather as he fights for justice on his home planet, just wrapped its second/final season earlier this week.
